Nikhil Nilakantan
Co-Founder & CEO
Nikhil has more than 10 years of global experience in the technology industry. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft during which time he held various roles in Strategy, Product Marketing and Product Development. Aside from his extensive corporate experience, Nikhil holds an MBA in Marketing & Entrepreneurship from SMU’s Cox School of Business and a BS in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology. Nikhil has three software design patents pending with the US Patent office.
Before co-founding Memory Reel, Nikhil was the founder & principal at Inventive Path LLC, a product strategy and innovation consulting firm based in Dallas, TX as well as a partner in Social Span Media an interactive media company that specialized in helping clients extend their product and brand strategies by building virally engaging marketing solutions on various social media platforms.
Elise Wood
Co-Founder & CTO
A self taught programmer and technologist, Elise has built sites such as official.fm, studiocast.com, lendmonkey.com, and electriccheckbook.com. Elise has also built embedded applications at Texas Instruments.
Dennis VanHorn
VP of Product Development
Dennis leads Product Development from our West Coast office with a passion to deliver fantastic solutions to our customers. He brings many, many (maybe just many) years of technology leadership to the team. From his college days at Carnegie Mellon to now, he has had a life-long excitement with great products. He has brought this excitement to numerous engineering and leadership roles in a variety of companies.
Most recently, Dennis was Chief Tuit Officer burning down his backlog of Round Tuits from his home base in San Francisco. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at VMWare and Texas Instruments as well as several successful Silicon Valley start-ups such as Good Technologies, Calico and Aspect Technologies.
Katherine Bell
Director of Client Delivery & Project Management
Katherine is the face of the company to our clients, juggling development cycles and ensuring each project delivery goes smoothly. With a decade of experience in the visual arts and communication design, Katherine also collaborates on product design and user experience. Prior to joining Memory Reel, Katherine was a Product Manager for Nomee Inc, leading the company's product design and customer support teams.
David Copps
Board Member
David is the Founder & CEO of Pure Discovery Inc. A serial entrepreneur, David previously co-founded Engenium Corp., the first commercial application of latent semantic analysis, in 1999. Engenium was purchased by Kroll, a unit of Marsh & McClennan. An avid technologist, his interests include - collaboration, social media applications and tools, artificial intelligence, machine learning and Semantic Web Technology.
